Yesterday I had another ultrasound and appointment. Baby
is moving well and continuing to grow (she’s about 4.4lb now). They still see
no fluid around her heart and her head is down. We'll be going for appointments every week now.
We asked about getting an induction date, since we’ve
already heard that they will probably induce me so that I’ll give birth on a
day when the team is ready for the baby. The doctor told us it will likely be
January 22nd, 23rd, or 24th. When they book a
date, it could still be postponed if on that day, the NICU team is not ready
for the baby to come. But at least we have a better idea now.
Some people ask how we're doing. I go between being okay,
being anxious, being sad and thinking everything feels super surreal. We’re so
thankful for good supports from our friends and family though and for our
comforting God.
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.

DeleteHi Emily, you have really been on mind and heart as you approach your induction date. I checked in with your mom for some details as well. We are having brunch with them tomorrow. I am going to share with our Bible study today for prayer for you and baby and all involved. HE is closer to you than your breathe honey and HE will never , ever leave you or forsake you, you are HIS precious child and your concerns are HIS concerns,HE knows your heart better than anyone so trust HIM with every ounce of your being , do what you can and HE will do what you can't.
